Are the products made of genuine leather?

Yes, at Gabuteau we make each product with 100% Genuine Cowhide-leather.

Is it safe to make online payments on the Gabuteau website?

Yes, we have the SSL security certificate, which you can identify to the left of the URL. This certification protects the data entered on our website.

Can I pay for my purchase in installments?

Yes, you can pay for your purchases with the card of your choice and in the number of installments you choose. Just check the drop-down list on the payment form and choose your installment plan for your purchase.

What credit cards do you accept on the website?

We accept all major credit and debit cards. You can make your purchases with the card of your choice.

Why was my order canceled?

There may be two reasons why your order was canceled:

a) The payment transaction was rejected by the bank. In that case, we suggest you contact your bank for more information.
b) Delivery could not be made because the driver could not locate you at the specified address. We recommend that you contact our telephone center at +51 980 419 078 to reschedule your delivery.

Why was my card payment declined?

Your bank may have blocked payments with your card or your card may have an insufficient balance to make the purchase. In that case, we suggest you contact the bank of the card used in the purchase for specific information and then contact us again at +51 980 419 078.

Why is my order delayed?

There may be situations where there are setbacks or incidents in the delivery process of your order. Therefore, we will contact you to give you the reasons for the incident and coordinate a new delivery time.

Can I request an invoice for my purchase?

Yes, you can request an invoice. You must indicate on the purchase form if you want a receipt or an invoice. It is important to note that invoices can only be issued in the name of the Peruvian RUC holder and such data must match the records in Sunat.

Do the products have a warranty?

GABUTEAU products come with a warranty of 60 calendar days from the date of purchase. The warranty applies to any factory defects, which will be evaluated in detail by our artisans.

To file a claim, you must send an email to atencion@gabuteau.com, detailing the issues found in that piece. You will also need to send a picture of the product and the receipt or gift ticket.
Our response time for claim requests is between 24 and 48 hours.

What if I don't like the product I bought?

Returns of products are not accepted. The customer can make exchanges up to 7 days after receiving the confirmation email if it was a web sale, or from the moment of physical purchase in our store, and as long as the following conditions are met:

The product is new, without signs of use, with the tags and certificate placed on the product, without breaking the original labels.
The product has no signs of use.
Once the company verifies that the conditions are met, the customer can exchange the piece for another that we have in stock, of equal or higher value by paying the difference.

In case the product presents manufacturing defects, the customer must contact atencion@gabuteau.com to review the case.

What if I'm not sure about the characteristics of a product or have questions about my purchase?

Can personalized items with the monogramming service be exchanged or returned?

No, items personalized with the monogramming service will not be eligible for exchange or return.

Can I use several Gift Cards for the same purchase?

Yes, Gift Cards can be accumulated for the same purchase, as long as they are within the validity period (6 months).

Can I use multiple discount codes or coupons for the same purchase?

No, discount codes or coupons cannot be accumulated for the same purchase.

How to take care of products?

PRODUCT CARE

Our products are handmade in Peru. Natural materials such as leather may have irregularities and variations in their tone, which is a natural characteristic, making them unique and special. That is why you should bear in mind the following recommendations:

  • Store in a dry and dust-free place, preferably in its original canvas bag.
  • We recommend storing them clean.
  • Keep them away from water and avoid prolonged direct exposure to sunlight.
  • Use specialized cleaning products for natural leather.
  • Be careful with the trims (accessories) when storing the pieces as they could mark the leather, always check that they are in the correct position to avoid this situation.
  • When carrying your products while traveling or in a suitcase, we recommend storing them inside a hard box or stuffing them so that they do not lose their original shape.

Can I use discount codes for collaboration products?

No, discount codes do not apply to collaboration products.
