SHIPPING

Web purchases have a period of 3 to 5 business days, during which we validate the payment and proceed to schedule the order with an assigned delivery date, which is communicated to the customer. If your order includes a monogramming service, the delivery time is between 4 and 6 business days.

The user will receive a shipping confirmation within 48 business hours after making their purchase.Once the customer receives the aforementioned purchase confirmation email, GABUTEAU will begin processing the order. Please note that the processing of orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin on the next business day.

Due to high demand during holidays and promotional periods, some orders may experience some delay, which will be promptly notified to the customer.

The approximate delivery times are as follows:

  • Lima Metropolitan Area: 3-5 working days.
  • Provinces: 4-6 working days.
  • Store hours: Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 7 pm.
  • Customer service hours: Monday to Friday from 9 am to 6 pm.
  • Delivery hours: Monday to Friday from 10 am to 6 pm.

GABUTEAU is unable to schedule specific delivery times or deliveries on Sundays or public holidays. All deliveries will be made according to these criteria.

  • These delivery times are for the central areas of each city; if the delivery address is in a remote area, the delivery will be within 1 or 2 additional days.
  • There will be 2 delivery attempts. If the driver cannot find the customer or a person who can take responsibility for the order at the indicated address, the order will be returned to Gabuteau’s store or the courier business in charge of delivery, where it must be collected by the customer.
  • The company is not responsible for delays caused by: government restrictions, transportation strikes, unfavorable weather conditions, and other incidents that may delay the order.

IN-STORE PICKUP

  • In-store pickup for products purchased on gabuteau.com is only available at our Gabuteau store: Av. Conquistadores 991 – 993, San Isidro. The client can pick up their order 3 business days after receiving the confirmation email. If the order includes a monogramming service, pickup will be available in-store after 5 business days.
  • When picking up the order, the client must present a valid form of ID and the order number.
  • In the case of third party collection, the client must write to GABUTEAU via WhatsApp or send an email to atencion@gabuteau.com detailing the order number, the name, and valid ID of the designated person.
  • Orders will be available for collection at Gabuteau Av. Conquistadores up to 60 days after the purchase date. Once this period has elapsed, the order will be sent to GABUTEAU’s warehouse. If the client wishes to pick up their order after it has been sent to our warehouse, they must contact the company 3 days before the pickup date through the online chat feature on gabuteau.com or by sending an email to atencion@gabuteau.com.
  • In-store pickup: Av. Conquistadores 991-993 San Isidro, Lima – Peru.
  • Pickup hours: Monday to Saturday: 10:00 am to 7:00 pm

EXCHANGE AND RETURN POLICY

  • Any exchanges must happen within 7 days from purchase, presenting the receipt and confirming the product is in good condition (without any signs of scratches, wrinkles, stains, or odors other than that of the leather). The state of the product will be verified by the company.
  • Exchanges or returns of products that have been used or labels that have been cut are not accepted. The packaging must be as it left the store.
    Products may only be exchanged for products of a similar or higher value, in the case of a higher priced product, the difference must be paid by the client.
  • Returns are accepted in case of factory defects.
  • If the product has a delay in the shipping process, the company will communicate with the client to explain the reason for this delay and give any relevant information for the delivery of the order.
  • If the product is monogrammed, neither exchanges or returns will be accepted.

GIFT CARD, COUPONS OR DISCOUNTS

  • Gift Cards can be accumulated for the same purchase, as long as they are within the validity period (6 months).
  • Discount codes or coupons cannot be accumulated for the same purchase.
  • Discount codes do not apply to collaboration products.

WARRANTY

GABUTEAU products have a warranty of 60 days from the date of purchase. Claims are received via email to atencion@gabuteau.com, with a detailed description of the damage and including attached photos of the product and the receipt or gift card. Our response time for claim requests is between 24 and 48 hours.

WARRANTY COVERAGE

  • The warranty is valid for any factory defect, such as:
  • Seams: handles, body pieces.
  • Glue: pieces out of place, open or unglued.
  • Trimmings: accessories that do not fulfill their function correctly: zippers, carabiners.

The warranty does NOT cover:

  • Wear and tear or material breakage (leather, fabric, lining, accessories) caused by misuse of the product.
  • Tone, texture, marks, and scars variations that are natural characteristics of leather or material of the piece.
  • Wrinkles caused by use or the nature of natural leather.
  • Stains caused by improper cleaning or those produced by the use of liquids and/or products other than those suggested, not suitable for leather goods.
  • Products that have been handled by third parties (shoe stores, leather workshops).
  • Discomfort or inconvenience due to the model or design of the product are not accepted as manufacturing defects.
  • If the product fails due to improper use.

PRODUCT CARE

  • Our products are handmade in Peru. Natural materials such as leather may have irregularities and variations in their tone, which is a natural characteristic, making them unique and special.
  • GABUTEAU products should be stored in a dry and dust-free place, preferably in its original canvas bag.
  • Products should be stored clean.
  • They should be kept away from water and prolonged direct exposure to sunlight should be avoided.
  • Specialized cleaning products for natural leather is highly recommended.
  • Special care should be taken with the trims (accessories) when storing the pieces. Always check that they are in the correct position to avoid marking the leather.
  • When carrying GABUTEAU products while traveling or in a suitcase, they should be stored inside a hard box and stuffed with material in order to maintain their original shape.
